Efremoglou Neoclassic Rugs - Handmade Rugs

Neoclassic rugs from Efremoglou Company are Certified products of Origin Declaration (DOO). These products have met specific criteria to be considered as originating in a particular country.

With the neoclassic rugs like Karachi, buchara, shirvan, senneh, ferahan, you're starting a unique journey of colours and designs into secret places that reveal hidden stories and ancient traditions of thousands of years. Handmade rugs made on vertical looms by experienced craftsmen with natural materials like cotton wool and silk.

Neoclassic rugs whose designs consist of flower compositions and geometric shapes of ancient symbolism on vivid, soft or earthy colours that make them perfectly match the modern decorative trends. You are managing to give a classic touch to your space, without being overshadowed by its grand or sophisticated designs.

With the use of excellent quality wool which is spun by hand and then dyed with vegetable dyes, the gradation in the shades of the colours used in the neoclassical carpets is achieved. Which in combination with the special treatment in their washing, create that feeling of "old" giving a magical result, while the fringe emerges from the warp.

The frequent movements of the populations caused the mixing of different elements of culture and civilization in rug's design and today we see that traditional methods of one area coexist with the unique techniques of another location on the same rug. A contraction of worlds one would say.

For example, we find Caucasian traditional patterns with weaving techniques from Afghanistan or traditional Turkish practices with Persian weaving techniques.

The colour palette contains shades of red, blue and different shades of green Salmon grey as well as earthy beige colours along with gold. They easily decorate all areas such as the living room, dining room, but also your office and business space. During the summertime, it's best to store them under suitable conditions.
